Background
A vacancy has arisen for a part-qualified accountant within the finance department of an Irish Banking Group
Key Responsibilities
* Provision of financial information to internal clients
* Assist in the preparation of statutory accounts for subsidiary companies
* Play an important role in the month-end reporting cycle
* Analysis of key accounts
* Control and review of balance sheet accounts
* Other projects and duties that may arise
Key Requirements
* Part-qualified Accountant (or a graduate with the intention of commencing ACCA or CIMA), with 1-2 years financial services experience
* Possess excellent IT skills, with an emphasis on Excel and GL
* Customer focused with a commitment to deliver a superior service
* Good analytical and numerical skills
* Organised and focused
* Team player, proactive and able to work on own initiative
